Stylish and cozy property in a great location but wait until the construction is finished next door Positive: Super stylish, great amenities and wifi, coffee and tea station a bonus, super huge and comfortable bed with nice linens, and lovely private outdoor space. The outdoor-only shower was fun. Nice to have a shared kitchen, which I used for light meals. On a private (generally) and safe street. Loved the yoga classes especially by Anita. It's a shame I couldn't enjoy this place to the fullest because of noisy construction next door that took place at least 8 hours a day five days a week and even on Saturday morning. Negative: Construction noise next door (not the owner's fault but still, not disclosed by owners before booking a nonrefundable stay). Impossible to use pool area or outdoor area comfortably or privaately much for the entire week I stayed, as they work 8am to 5pm or 6pm and even on Saturday morning, and are standing on a roof looking directly into the pool area. They also were hammering and using power tools on and off but basically consistently. I asked for a partial refund but the owner was inflexible about it. I think full disclosure would have been appropriate in this case to let guests know of potential for disruption. I was kind of stuck in a nonrefundable situation once I arrived and found out about the noise. I don't think it's too much to ask to be able to make an informed decision about a situation like this before booking.
