Movement. Connection. Practice.

Our open-air yoga shala is the heart of Templo — a space for guests, locals, and travelers to gather in movement, breath, and presence. Everyone is welcome.

Yoga at Templo

Templo started as a nonprofit yoga project for the Saladita community, and that backbone is still here. Classes are held in a screened, hexagon yoga platform tucked into the trees—a quiet, breezy space that fits around 16 people comfortably.

We keep things simple and community-first: locals, surfers, and travelers sharing the same space a short walk from the wave. The studio is fully stocked with Manduka mats, blocks, bolsters, blankets, straps, and foam rollers, so you don’t need to bring your own gear. All profits from the yoga studio go directly to the instructors who teach here.

No need to reserve, just pop in!

Meet Our Instructors

Templo isn’t a “hotel with yoga.” It’s a platform for the teachers who hold space here.

Anita

Ana keeps things grounded: steady flows, clear cues, and a focus on breath over performance. Her classes are designed to help you feel at home in your body again—especially after long travel days or heavy surf sessions. Expect uncomplicated sequences, longer holds, and a calm, supportive pace.

*Good for:* slower flows, nervous system reset, post-surf recovery, beginners

Classes evolve with the community, and we occasionally offer workshops or sessions with visiting teachers. Updates are posted on the schedule, Instagram, and our local WhatsApp group.

Thalia

Thalia brings the air element. She specializes in **Fly High Yoga**, a playful, inversion-based practice using a supportive belt system anchored overhead. Trained directly by the creator of the method, she blends precise technique with an easy, welcoming vibe so people of all levels can safely explore hanging, lengthening, and decompressing the spine.

Her classes feel a bit like being a kid again—lots of laughter, new perspectives, and that light, spacious feeling afterward.

*Good for:* spinal decompression, playful inversions, building trust in your body, shaking off stiffness from screens or travel.
